    when you’re ready to actually retire, get yourself to a south sea island and weave rugs on the beach to sell to the tourists. Would be a great second act.

    thank you—I am so impressed. So, have you learned from older relatives? Or do you have a book recommendation? I did discover twining a couple of months ago but only found one book. It’s slightly complicated. Your rug is beautiful! did you say you used leather strips? Isn’t it wonderful to make use of old “stuff” you have laying around?
